Look at this thing! It's the most amazing thing I have ever seen. How does this not have a cult following? This is the true Miata.

Yeah, the SAAB 92H & 95H are both pretty cool, but I'm more of a fan of their other camper:

Nobody ever talks about the Beetle RSi either. VR6? 220hp? AWD? You guys should be all over this!

Yeah but truck bed campers are a pretty common thing here... I just love how SAAB made one to go in the back of a hatchback!

I was just turning things around from what happened the last time I posted the Turnpike Ranchero kit - people posted the Saab, as in both cases there was a healthy discussion of the ability of rear suspension to deal with it. The Ford ute is more my thing than the Saab, of course.

Haha must have missed that one. The Ranchero is pretty sweet. I'm sure someone, somewhere made one for an El Camino as well... The SAAB camper is definitely my thing though. Quirky FWD Swedish hatchback with a house on the roof? Obviously.

Your suspicion is correct:

those extra wheels are downright awesome...
Another great one (though there's only the one video, and very little info) is the gooseneck camper for a Beetle (or other small car).
I just love how you can spin around and push the trailer into small parking spots.
